What is the difference between men's and women's shirts
1. Button positions are different
The buttons of men's shirts are generally not on the same side as women's. Most of the buttons of men's shirts are on the right and most of women's shirts are on the left. The same goes for not only shirts, but also coats.
2. Different pockets
Men's shirts have one or two pockets on the left and right chest. The blouse has no pockets on the chest.
In the 1840s, Western-style shirts were introduced to China. At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, people began to wear suits due to the growing European style. They put their shirts on the inside of their suits as a shirt. The tie was usually opened with five buttons. Initially, shirts were mostly for men, but they were gradually adopted by women in the 1950s and have now become one of the most commonly used clothing.
